THE ARTIST
BOOMER
William Baker, better known as Boomer (@boomer_fifth1), has spent close to 15 years behind the machine, and about 10 of those running Fifth Finger Studio in Glendale, Arizona alongside his own reputation. His name is attached to big, ambitious work — full sleeves, large-scale portraits — the kind of pieces that take patience in the chair and precision in black and gray that doesn't leave room for a bad session.
Boomer Rose takes that same realism and puts it into something classic. A rose sounds simple until you look at what separates a good one from a great one — the way light falls across each petal, the depth in the shadows between them, the thorns that actually look like they'd draw blood. That's where Boomer's portrait background shows up: he treats a flower with the same discipline he'd give a face.
