The back artwork gives off the feeling of death in quiet devotion, a hooded figure in silent prayer, as if the grim reaper has taken a place at the altar and is waiting for the final confession. Its deep crimson and shadowy greys have the hushed, candlelit gravity of a cathedral after dark, with a reverent stillness that is far more chilling than any scream. The stained-glass framing turns the piece into a kind of unholy relic, where faith and mortality blur together in a gothic, ritualistic haze.
